Adena Points
Adena, Adena Blade, Adena-Narrow Stem, Adena-Robbins, Adena Vanishing Stem
Late Archaic to Woodland (3000-1800) B.P.
The Adena Complex of points are another well represented group in this area, (5%) according to my records . The true Adena point is the one I find the most frequently with the Adena-Robbins second, the other variation are less common in this area. These graceful points with their flowing curves represent a time in Tennessee history that is associated with a steady and stable culture.
